Canine Training: Training for Dog & Owner

Canine TrainingMary Kay Adams has combined her years of experience as an equine trainer and her love for dogs to develop a unique program for canines using the same positive reinforcement that has been the key to her success. EquiNine currently offers beginner obedience, lessons, workshops for dogs and their owners, travel training, and puppy social groups. Beginner agility programs will be added in the future.

Dog Obedience

As dogs reach the age of 6 months, it is time to think about their behavior and teaching them what is appropriate behavior. In the EquiNine obedience program, you and your dog attend one-on-one or small group training sessions and will learn how to properly execute behaviors that are desirable in the shared environment of canines and humans. Owners will be taught basic obedience cues and how to properly and positively use them to train their canine friend.

EquiNine dog obedience training typically takes place at the EquiNine Training Facility in Weeks Mills, Maine. However, we do offer travel programs where the sessions are held at the owners' choice of location. An additional traveling fee is added for these special travel sessions.

Contact EquiNine for more information on dog obedience training programs.

My experience with other trainers has not been nearly as positive,
and you are much  more giving of your knowledge and skills.
You are also very generous with your time.

Socializing for Puppies

Socialization is a very important part in the life of your puppy. That's why EquiNine offers social groups for dogs under 6 months of age. These groups are offered during the week and allow for puppies to come play and socialize under professional supervision. An introduction to training also may take place during the puppy social outings.

Contact EquiNine for the current schedule for puppy social groups.
